Understanding Your Drug & Alcohol Results
Standard definitions shown on a drug and alcohol result.
|Negative||Pass. No Drugs Were Detected.|
|Non-Negative||An express drug screen detected the presence of a drug. This result should be confirmed by a laboratory.|
|Positive||Fail. A drug was detected and confirmed based upon laboratory analysis and MRO review.|
|Alcohol Pass||Pass. There was either no alcohol detected, or the alcohol detected was below the cut-off limit.|
|Alcohol Fail||Fail. Alcohol was detected in a level above the acceptable cut-off limit. This test was then confirmed by a second breathalyzer issued 15 minutes after the initial result.|

Private Drug & Alcohol Results
The following is an example of a result provided to a private individual at the completion of a drug and alcohol test. They are sent through our secure, online results database.
Please Note: Only authorized persons can receive access to or discuss test results. Health and Hearing Conservation Consultants cannot disclose test results if you are not authorized to receive them.
Company’s may update their results preferences by having an existing representative notify Health and Hearing Conservation Consultants in writing.
Individuals may allow extended results access by providing Health and Hearing Conservation Consultants with written consent detailing the individuals they would like to include.
